Events

In February there was a festival going on called Big Money Film Festival.  This was a festival full of all different types of independent films that you could go to for free or a small payment.  In March there was an even called Players Ball.  This was a huge gathering in the field by the tower dorm halls.  This event involved comedy acts, food, and music.  It was a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon being social with friends.  This month (April) right away we have Little Grassy Festival which involves literature readings.  I will follow more up on Little Grassy festival once I attend it.  These are a few of the major events that have gone on and will be going on at Southern IL University.  They're a great way to meet people and experience different things.
